English as a Second Language - Business English
Oral Skills and Business Writing

Duration: 8 weeks for each module - offered simultaneously.

This program is for ESL students who would like to work in an office environment. This program includes 20 hours per week of intensive instruction. Students in this program take two classes each day: Business Oral Skills and Business Writing.

Although the program uses topics from work and business, the main focus is English. The program has been designed to allow the student to make decisions regarding business strategies and appropriate usage of English structures.

The students will learn to:

• Start, conduct, summarize and conclude a meeting with ease
• Present opinions and alternatives
• Accept and reject proposals diplomatically
• Build up arguments
• Organize and deliver a speech with confidence
• Write positive and negative Business Proposals, Memos and Letters
